Place the board on the roller, positioning the roller near one end. Step onto the end of the board that touches the ground, then carefully place your other foot on the opposite side where the roller supports it. Gently shift your weight from side to side until you find your centre of balance.
Tip: When starting out, ask a family member or friend to hold your hands, or practise next to a wall for extra stability.
If you are new to balance training, consider wearing protective gear such as a helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards. Practising with a friend or near a wall can provide additional support. Children should always be supervised while using the exercise board.
